Round Up For Research

To spread awareness during September Superficial Siderosis month, Caffe’ Crema owners Tanya and Greg Beers have added a “ROUND-UP FOR RESEARCH” option to their online ordering app and in-store sales. Customers will be given an option of rounding up their purchase to the nearest whole dollar for donation to the SSRA. They also can bump their support with a larger amount. A check presentation will follow the first week of October.

One of the first things you’ll notice when you enter Caffe’ Crema is a counter display featuring both the SSRA mission and education brochures along with awareness wristbands. When the meeting room is not in use a looped informational video may be viewed on the big screen while patrons are waiting for their order. In 2014 Tanya’s uncle was diagnosed with Superficial Siderosis so supporting the SSRA is important. Early on, during the shops’ planning stage, Greg and Tanya Beers decided to donate a portion of their monthly sales to support Superficial Siderosis research.

Caffe’ Crema is an independent coffee house located in the Piney Woods of East Texas. They feature fresh small batch coffee beans from a local area roasting house and the popular Reishi brand organic teas. A complete selection of their coffee beans and teas will be available for bidding during the SSRAs’ 2021 Online Auction Fundraising Event.

The SSRA mission has been blessed with strong support from the business community. They continually answer the call for auction items, services, and donations.
