I have to say I’m a little jealous. There are some people out there who are running away with some rock bottom deals. It’s hard to believe the auction is almost over, but the smart buyers always stake their claim early. So with only two bidding days left, I thought this would be an excellent time to update everyone on the silent auction happenings.
A New Auction Finds a New Look
Deb, Sue, and the auction crew have joined forces with the folks at Bidding For Good for the 2021 SSRA Silent Auction site. BiddingForGood auctions are managed and processed through the industry’s leading all-in-one-digital fundraising platform, Panorama by Frontstream. This ensured our supporters would enjoy a seamless and easy auction experience.
Showing the Love
Our auction donors have certainly delivered. From a Chef’s Table Experience for Ten People, Sports memorabilia for every diehard fan, Gourmet Food, Specialty Coffees, Organic Rishi Teas and Wine Baskets, so many baskets, packed and ready for holiday gift-giving. We received over 130 items from businesses and individuals who want to help us realize the SSRA vision.
Our annual silent auction could not be a success without the generosity of everyone involved. From our auction co-chairs Deb Zindler and Sue Dempsey, the volunteers from Z2 who packed and photographed every item, our donors, and let’s not forget all our bidders.
Fast and Furious
If this year is anything like the last auction, things are about to heat up. The action always speeds up the closer we inch to 10:00 AM this Sunday. The final hour should be enjoyable to watch, but there are going to be many happy winners. If you haven’t looked through the items yet, there’s still time and some outstanding values.
